NC State Extension announced that Clara Willard is completing an Extension internship this summer with the Stokes County Center. An Extension summer intern works with Extension personnel to deliver hands-on, educational programs. Job shadowing and mentoring help interns learn about the mission and work of North Carolina Cooperative Extension.
Clara Willard was raised on a small farm in Pinnacle, NC where she was first exposed to agriculture. Her interest in pursuing a career in agriculture grew from there as she continued through high school. She currently attends NC State University where she is working towards a degree in Agricultural Business Management and a minor in Animal Science. She is currently a member of the Track and Field team and the Alpha Zeta Agricultural Honors Fraternity. While she is undecided on her future career plans, she hopes to continue working in agriculture.
