Valentines Day Appeal
Year 12 students led by Yumi, Fiona, Pear and Ping Ping set out to ‘spread the love’ on Valentines’ Day. Cookies with lovely messages were shared across the school bringing smiles and good feelings. Thanks to the support of students and parents the Y12 students raised over 10,000thb which has been donated to Rescue Paws. The story continues as Rescue Paws will be using the funds to provide shelter for the two very friendly dogs that have been living in our car park. Thank you to everyone for contributing to this happy story.
School Lunches
Our school councils have been working closely with the catering company ‘Epicure’ to ensure students enjoy healthy and varied lunches. Directors, Trevor Allen and Jason Dinsdale from Epicure, kindly visited just before half term and have been working with the onsite catering staff following this meeting. This week vegan recipes suggested by the students will be trialled and fully reviewed. It is so helpful for our students to be working directly with Epicure as they are able to give first hand feedback and evaluation.
Swimming Pool
The 25m swimming pool is now being refilled after the repair work. It will however take time to fill the pool with water and then it needs some further time to settle to ensure it is absolutely clean and safe. Primary swimming will continue in the small pool as will Primary ECAS but secondary swimming will not be able to take place this week.
U13 Fobisia Games Success
There was huge excitement for our students setting off tof the Fobisia Games as this was the first time ever attending the games and the first chance to test themselves against the biggest schools in Asia.
- Day One
Opening day is always a test not just of ability but determination as a tough swimming schedule is followed by a full afternoon of track and field. Our Hawks had resilience in stacks as they competed hard for every race in the pool and after the boys hopped onto the podium for relay bronze it felt like there wasn’t a minute where there wasn’t an HHIS swimmer on the podium. Marla collecting the first gold and Ben T. hauling in an epic 6 medals. The momentum continued into the athletics and it was only moments before Hawks’ athletes were being called to the medal ceremonies. The Hawks excelled in the medium distances, Mek and Sofia both claiming gold and in the hot sun Libby managed a phenomenal silver in the 1500m. The boys relay medal capped off a phenomenal first day.
- Football and Basketball
The girls kicked off with football on day 2 and played some super football. Anna making great saves in goal and a solid defence of Libby and Tia kept the opposition quiet and the Hawks were finding the back of the net with Phoebe and Marla however luck was not always on their side and they narrowly missed out on the knockout stages. Their teamwork of defensive battling spirit carried into the basketball competition and they topped the group after the first stage. Phoebe, Marla and Kate scoring well and Anna and Sofia dominating the post on defence. Despite an epic effort they could progress past the semi final and they didn’t get the trophy they very much deserved however they should be so proud of their achievement.
The boys started off with a bang in the basketball competition and won their first game. Kevin playing well at both ends and Julung and Willie proving strong in the paint. They grew and grew into the competition however results didn’t always go their way, missing out on the knockouts. The football competition was of a very high standard but the boys competed admirably. Michael scored some wonderful solo goals and Au made some standout saves in the Hawks net. There was a huge amount for this team to build on, none more so than their teamwork and positivity, they battled right the way through.
- Finale
At the gala dinner the HHIS students partied into the evening with their new friends from Thailand, Malaysia, Brunei and Korea it was a reminder of the power of sport to bring people together and celebrate. Friendships began and memories were made that will last a lifetime.

Year 3 - Local Visit
Year 3 had an interesting afternoon at Bluport last Monday, taking part in traditional Thai cultural activities. After a physical Muay Thai activity they were then encouraged to be creative and imaginative as they added some designs to traditional Thai desserts. The students were also inspired to design and decorate masks. This has now launched them into their new topic of 'History Of Masks From Around The World'. Ms Dawn and Ms Emma
Choral Festival
The excitement continues this week as our Secondary choir will be heading off for the Fobisia Choral Festival in Bangkok. This is another ‘first’ for our school and we are proud to wish them well for their performances this week.

นักเรียนชั้น Y12 นำโดย Yumi, Fiona, Pear และ Ping Ping ได้จัดส่งต่อความรักในวันวาเลนไทน์ ประกอบด้วย คุ้กกี้พร้อมข้อความ เพื่อส่งต่อรอยยิ้มและความรู้สึกที่ดีภายในโรงเรียน ขอขอบคุณที่ช่วยสนับสนุนนักเรียนและผู้ปกครอง นักเรียนชั้น Y12 ได้รับยอดเงินบริจาค 10,000 บาท ซึ่งจะบริจาคให้แก่ ทำหมันหมาจร เรื่องราวดำเนินต่อไปสำหรับการทำหมันหมาจร เพื่อจะช่วยหาที่พักพิงให้แก่สุนัขที่เป็นมิตร 2 ตัว โดยตอนนี้อาศัยอยู่ที่จอดรถ ขอขอบคุณทุกท่านที่มีส่วนช่วยให้เรื่องราวดีๆ นี้เกิดขึ้น
อาหารกลางวันโรงเรียน
สภานักเรียนได้ทำงานร่วมกับบริษัท เอ็บเพอคิวร์ เคเทอริ่ง เพื่อให้มั่นใจว่านักเรียนรับประทานอาหารกลางวันที่ดีต่อสุขภาพและมีความหลากหลาย โดยผู้อำนวยการ Trevor Allen และ Jason Dinsdale จากบริษัท เอ็บเพอคิวร์ ได้เข้ามาเยี่ยมชมโรงเรียนก่อนปิดครึ่งภาคการศึกษา และได้ทำงานร่วมกับพนักงานในโรงอาหารในการประชุมครั้งนี้ โดยเมนูอาหารวีแกนของสัปดาห์นี้ แนะนำโดยนักเรียนที่ได้ทดลองและทบทวนกันแล้ว ซึ่งเป็นความช่วยเหลือจากนักเรียนของเราที่ทำงานร่วมกับบริษัท เอ็บเพอคิวร์ ซึ่งได้รับคำติชมครั้งแรกและประเมินผลได้โดยตรง
สระว่ายน้ำ
สระว่ายน้ำ 25 เมตร กำลังถูกเติมน้ำหลังจากซ่อมแซมเสร็จแล้ว อย่างไรก็ตาม ต้องใช้เวลาในการเติมน้ำลงสระและใช้เวลาในการปรับสภาพค่าน้ำให้สะอาดและปลอดภัย นักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาจึงเรียนว่ายน้ำที่สระว่ายน้ำเล็กเหมือนกับการเรียน ECAs ของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษา แต่สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาจึงต้องงดการเรียนว่ายน้ำในสัปดาห์นี้ก่อน
ความสำเร็จของ U13 Fobisia Games
เป็นความตื่นเต้นครั้งใหญ่สำหรับนักเรียนของเราที่ได้เข้าร่วม Fobisia Games ในครั้งแรก ซึ่งได้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมต่างๆ มากมาย และมีโอกาสครั้งแรกที่ในการทดสอบพวกเขาเองจากการแข่งขันกีฬาครั้งใหญ่ที่สุดในภูมิภาคเอเชีย
- วันแรก

- วันที่ 2

ในการรับประทานอาหารมื้อค่ำ นักเรียนนานาชาติหัวหินได้พบปะเพื่อนใหม่จากประเทศไทย มาเลเซีย บรูไน และเกาหลี เป็นการย้ำเตือนว่าพลังของกีฬาได้นำผู้คนมาพบและฉลองร่วมกัน มิตรภาพเกิดขึ้นพร้อมความทรงจำที่ยอดเยี่ยมและจะคงอยู่ตลอดไป ทีมนักกีฬาทุกคนทำได้ยอดเยี่ยมมาก พวกเขาทำให้เราภาคภูมิใจมากจริงๆ
นักเรียนชั้น Y3 ไปทัศนศึกษา
นักเรียนชั้น Y3 ได้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมที่น่าสนใจในช่วงบ่าย ณ บลูพอร์ต เมื่อวันจันทร์ที่ผ่านมา โดยได้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมเกี่ยวกับวัฒนธรรมไทย หลังจากเสร็จกิจกรรมมวยไทย พวกเขาได้สร้างสรรค์จินตนาการและทำขนมไทย และหลังจากนั้น พวกเขาสร้างแรงบันดาลใจในการออกแบบและตกแต่งหน้ากาก ซึ่งกิจกรรมต่างๆ เหล่านี้ ได้นำพวกเขาเริ่มต้นเข้าสู่หัวข้อใหม่ 'ประวัติศาสตร์หน้ากากจากทั่วโลก' Ms Dawn and Ms Emma กล่าว
