LEGO wedo and mindstorms LEGO technology in Studio Teach

LEGO WeDo and Mindstorm engage and motivate elementary students’ interest in learning science- and engineering-related subjects. It allows for curiosity in science and technology classes and improves their skills in technology and coding.

WeDo 2.0

LEGO WeDo is a robotics hardware and software platform specifically designed for Kindergarten to Grade 4 students. As with other LEGO Education products it follows the 4 C’s process – Connect to a story, Construct a model, Contemplate its function, and Continue improving its design. As students collaborate, they deeply engage with science, engineering, technology, and coding, sparking a love for experimentation and investigation. As one teacher said, “What I love about LEGO WeDo, aside from it being tactile and engaging, is that it encourages students to persevere when solving problems.”

This is one hands-on, cross-curricular STEM solution that engages students by providing the resources to design, build and program their creations while helping them develop essential skills such as creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and communication. We have resources to help you walk through the steps of building the robots.
