The Once Upon A Time consignment boutique is a charming treasure chest of amazing finds. The shop’s location allows for lots of customers in the area looking for access to high-quality, affordable fashion and excellent customer service right on High Street.
The largest part of the business is donations. When people want to make a profit off of the clothes they've had for a while that are still valuable, they bring them here. Gina Spease, the owner of Once Upon A Time, said, "The majority of my donations come locally from the tri-county area."

Once Upon A Time offers clothes and accessories for men, women, and children. “We don't want people to feel like they can't come in because it's called a boutique. By it being named a boutique that you’re going to get quality merchandise,” Spease said.
Community is a large portion of what Once Upon A Time is all about. When the pandemic closed the boutique's doors a few years ago, it was the community that got the business through.
Like most small businesses, the pandemic caused Once Upon A Time to shut down in 2020. However, the business survived due to the community's contributions. Without grants from the organizations in Pottstown, the shop wouldn’t still be in business. “That was a great help to reopen the doors back up again," Spease said.
