Many students were surprised to see the centerhung scoreboard had been converted to broadcast their procession.
Principal Mark Thomas started the ceremony by giving his speech to all graduates, parents, and friends gathered to celebrate.
Staff were thanked for their help
Students who were honored with the Magna Cum Laude award for achieving a cumulative grade point average (GPA) above a 4.0 were given the opportunity to share a favorite quote with their peers and family. The video presentation was put together by teacher David Tull.
Senior class president Emily Camp gave a speech after the presentation.
Varsity voices sang "You Will Be Found" after Camp's speech and "Unwritten" at the end of the ceremony.

Claira Warner was the salutatorian for the graduating class. She had the second-highest GPA in her class, with a 4.28.
Viola Weber was the class of 2023 valedictorian. She had a GPA of 4.31.
Camp called students up to recieve their diploma while Thomas and Northview Superintendent Dr. Scott Korpak congratulated them.
Athletic Director Pat Marsmen waited for students on the other side of the stage. He helped students down the stairs, and congratulated them. Izabella Barger smiles with her diploma.

Graduates waited in line to walk across the stage in their pairs. Riley Eaton and Jack Botsford have been dating all four years of high school.
Graduates handed Camp a slip with their name, and then strode across the stage to receive their diploma while she announced them.
Miguel Hernandez and Ella Price were two students who were individually honored with special scholarships and department awards.
At the end of the ceremony, the graduates threw their caps into the air to celebrate.
