Hello everyone! Welcome to my blog where I will be diving into all things revolving around nutrition, attaining a healthy and balanced lifestyle, and taking care of our overall wellbeing. I am a Nutritional Sciences major with a focus on dietetics at Penn State and I aim to use my degree to become a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. For as long as I can remember, I have been interested in learning about how what we eat affects our body, as well as the correlation between food and training. I am an advocate for weight training and aside from the work I put in at the gym, a lot of the success I see is from the work I put in the kitchen, in what I eat daily. My health journey and what I have learned was not something that happened overnight and has been a lot of trial and error. From counting calories and doing too much cardio to finally understanding that I should use food as fuel because it is necessary for growth, I have made a lot of changes in my health journey over these past few years. I am still learning new things every day and I want to soak up as much knowledge as I can. I hope that as I am learning through my work on my blog, I can also teach others in the proccess.
