Drum Making Workshop : Native American Heritage Month

This workshop was able to happen because of the help from the University Counseling Services, the Many Nations Longhouse and the Native American Student Union. Bringing the Native Campus community together by programming a drum making culture night for Native American Heritage Month.
.Drum Making Culture Night: 80 Students, totaling 105 Native Community Members attended and received CS information.
Suicide Prevention Campaign: NPAIHB &. THRIVE
Re-design and develop THRIVE’s Suicide Prevention Flyers to cater campaign specifically to UO Native Students.
Text Message Suicide Prevention Campaign: NPAIHB and THRIVE
Using a text messaging system to connect to the Native Students on campus, giving them term-tips and support.
Correlated Indigenous students on campus to write for the caring messages campaign, and THRIVE and the NWIHB brought it to life by programming them into the system. The #wearenative campaign helped us incorporate the avatars into the work.
Wellness kits 2021-2022
Wellness Baskets 2021 and 2022 : 101 Native students in 2021 received baskets and filled out surveys on how CS can do better for specific community. In 2022 90 students signed up and received baskets.
Senior Class ENGAGEMENT
In 2021, 42 Native Graduates and in 2022 and 38 Native Graduates (all graduates) received specialized gifts and information on after graduation services that the CS provides the summer after college, as well as where to get additional support into their next steps towards their careers.

Thanks But no thanksgiving workshop
Co-facilitated the Thanks But No Thanksgiving workshop, providing the real narrative on the Thanksgiving holiday, and giving cultural representation to staff, faculty, and students on University of Oregon campus. Giving tips and tricks on how to decolonize the dinner table by adding Indigenous foods to the table.
~70 students, staff and community members joined via zoom both years. Presented in person at Gamma Phi Beta Sorority where there was 120 members.
SOCIAL MEDIA TEAM:
Creating engaging social media posts to bring awareness to community recourses and scholarships to the Eugene high school community.

Peer-Mentor
Works at Springfield high school to help in the College and Career Center (CCC). Here I evaluate students and their after-high school plans. I edit essays, help with FAFSA and find the students scholarship opportunities, creating a safe place to talk about their future career endeavors.
Working hands on with approximately 10 students a day.
Program Descriptions
Re-write the program descriptions for SAIL’s Summer programming. Making sure all descriptions are equally engaging for its target audience (high school students) and professional.
