The Drummac Chris McLarney Award was created in honor of Chris McLarney, a former Drummac employee. Chris served as QMP and Supervisor in Portland, for 20 years before he passed away after a long battle with cancer in 2015. Chris was a devoted Drummac employee and his enduring commitment to "doing it right,” continues to be an example for Drummac employees. Chris worked every day with enthusiasm and integrity and was highly regarded by his colleagues both within Drummac and also Amtrak.
Each year Drummac management solicits nominations from supervisors to nominate employees for this award. This year there were 14 nominations. The 2021 award goes to Lewis Green, Assistant Supervisor for the Amtrak Auto Train contract in Sanford, FL. Lewis started at Drummac after graduating high school.
