HUMAN RIGHTS CLASS IN A BOX 2022-2023 IMPACT REPORT MDCPS

Human Rights Class in a Box is a human rights based co-curricular program imparted by International Solidarity for Human Rights. The course is designed to increase students’ knowledge, appreciation and commitment to human rights education and advocacy for the prevention of violence, dehumanization and bullying and the promotion of equality, kindness and inclusion. (Supported by: MDCPS and The Children's Movement of Florida)

Subject: Human Rights Education-Learning. Context: An introduction to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR). Objective(s): Participants will examine the UDHR and become familiar with the 30 rights it proclaims; the activity promotes and encourages participation, education and learning of the articles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights through visual art, music, dancing, or any other expression of creativity.
