20221004 青森空港到着。解散式。20221004 Arrival at Aomori Airport. Dismissal ceremony.

20221004　羽田空港へ到着。第３ターミナルから第１ターミナルまでモノレールで移動。乗り継ぎの場合はインフォメーションセンターでパスポートと搭乗券を見せるとモノレールの無料券がもらえることを今回の修学旅行で初めて知りました。この無料券は結局行きも帰りも利用しました。トランクを預けた後、２４番搭乗口集合まで１時間半の時間がありました。引率の立場から考えると時間があってもすぐに手荷物検査に通って中で自由行動が普通です。今回は、トランクを預けたらすぐに自由行動にしました。手荷物検査前のお店で最後のお土産を買いたい生徒もいるので塾長先生と相談して、生徒の行動を信じることにしました。ニュージーランドでは、本当にみんな時間通りに集合できて計画的な行動ができる生徒ばかりが今回のニュージーランド修学旅行に来ていると思いました。大体の時間の使い方の目安を伝えて、トランクを預けたらその都度自由行動となりましたが、２４番搭乗口まで全員問題なくさらっと集合していました。本当に今回のニュージーランド修学旅行では、現地での生徒の行動力や語学学校での取り組みなど、生徒の飛躍的な成長を間近で見ることができたことに大変感激しております。20221004 Arrive at Haneda Airport. We took the monorail from Terminal 3 to Terminal 1. I learned for the first time on this school trip that if you are transferring, you can get a free monorail ticket by showing your passport and boarding pass at the information center. We ended up using this free ticket both on the way there and on the way back. After checking in our trunks, we had one and a half hours to wait for boarding gate 24. From the standpoint of a tour conductor, it is normal to go through the baggage check immediately after checking in the trunks and then go inside for free activities. This time, we were free to go as soon as we checked our trunks. Some students wanted to buy last minute souvenirs at the store in front of the baggage check, so after consulting with the principal, we decided to trust the students' behavior. I thought that in New Zealand, only students who can really all meet on time and act in a planned manner came to this New Zealand school trip. I gave them a rough idea of how to spend their time, and after depositing their trunks, they were free to go on their own each time, but all of them were able to assemble without any problems until boarding gate #24. I was really very impressed to see the students' dramatic growth up close on this New Zealand school trip, in terms of their behavior there and their efforts at the language school.

20221003　シドニー空港から羽田空港へ。飛行機に乗ってすぐの機内食は「和牛の○○」というメニューを頼みました。メニューの中の「和牛」から日本へ帰るのだなと思いました。朝の機内食は３センチぐらい厚みのあるピザのようなものでした。　20221003 From Sydney Airport to Haneda Airport. As soon as I boarded the plane, I ordered the "Wagyu no XX" menu for my in-flight meal. I thought I was going back to Japan from the "Japanese beef" on the menu. The morning meal was a pizza-like dish about 3 cm thick.

20221003　オークランド空港からシドニー空港へ。今回は機内食の写真を撮れました。フィッシュアンドチップを注文しました。ソースに隠れていますが、そこに魚の白身のフライがありました。フィッシュアンドチップはニュージーランドでは定番の食べ物です。普段はソースはかかっていませんが、機内食にはかかっていました。　20221003 Auckland Airport to Sydney Airport. This time I was able to take a picture of the in-flight meal. I ordered Fish and Chips. It is hidden in the sauce, but there was fried white meat of fish there. Fish and Chips is a standard food in New Zealand. Usually, there is no sauce on it, but it was on the in-flight meal.

20221003 こういう人工物がほとんど無い土地が多いこともあって、ニュージーランドは「ロードオブザリング」や「ホビット」のロケ地に選ばれたのでしょうね。タウランガから40kmぐらいにあるマタマタ地区にホビット村の映画セットがあるようでした。20221003 I guess New Zealand was chosen as a location for "Lord of the Rings" and "The Hobbit" because there is so much land with almost no man-made structures. There seemed to be a movie set of a hobbit village in the Matamata area, about 40 km from Tauranga.

20221001　生徒達がそれぞれ土曜日のベストショットを送ってくれました。全員分ありませんが、提出されたら追加していきます。同じ写真がありますが、それぞれから提出された写真を掲載していますのでご了承願います。また、嬉しい報告がありました。ベツレヘムカレッジのバディと再度会う機会が持てた生徒がいたようでした。関係が良好で大変嬉しく思います。20221001 Each student sent in their best shot of Saturday. 20221001 帰り道の途中で「Katikati Bird Gardens」へ寄りました。広大な庭に鳥たちが放し飼いになっていました。餌を買うと自由に庭の中で与えられるようでした。私も雨の中でしたがお庭を散策しました。最後に孔雀に出会えてビックリしました。孔雀ももちろん放し飼いでした。20221001 On my way home, I stopped by "Katikati Bird Gardens". Birds were free-range in the vast garden. I bought some food and was able to feed the birds freely in the garden. I also took a walk in the garden in the rain. I was surprised to see a peacock at the end. Of course, the peacocks were free-range.

20221001 カティカティ地区の壁画を見ました。商業施設の壁に多くの壁画を描き有名になった街のようです。2005年には「最も美しい小さな町」として表彰されたようです。20221001 I saw a mural in the Katikati area. It seems that the town became famous for many murals on the walls of commercial buildings and was awarded as the "Most Beautiful Small Town" in 2005.

20220929 みんな順番で発表の機会があったようでした。今日もこの後、流れ解散となりました。いよいよ明日が授業の最終日となります。午後には修了式をホストファミリーと一緒に開催される予定のようです。20220929 Everyone seemed to have had a chance to present in turn. 20220929 午後の授業が始まりました。先程のショッピングモールで調べた内容をもとに先生方から質問が出ます。チーム戦になっていて正解を多く答えられるチームを競っているようです。時々笑い声が聞こえてきます。お互いに英語がスムーズに通じている瞬間のようです。20220929 Afternoon classes have begun. The teachers are asking questions based on what they researched at the shopping mall earlier. It seems that the teams are competing against each other to see which team can answer the most questions with the correct answers. Sometimes you can hear them laughing. They are protecting kiwis that are weak and eggs that have been neglected. The female lays the eggs, but the male keeps them warm for 72 days. Kiwi newborns look almost the same as adults, but they do not eat for three weeks after birth and live on the nutrition stored in their bodies at birth.

One of the carvers was the grandfather of one of our guides. It seems that each door has a motif of a body part, such as a mouth for a door, eyes for a window, and a heart for a pillar.

20220927 明日のロトルアのイメージビデオを見て気持ちをを膨らませて、本日も最後は流れ解散となりました。20220927 After watching the image video of Rotorua tomorrow and letting our feelings swell, we broke up again at the end of the day.

20220927 午後の授業がスタート。教室以外の廊下や空き教室に英文が貼ってあって、ペアの一人が英文を記憶してペアに伝え書きとめていくリクレーション的な授業が始まりました。生徒は英文を忘れたら何度も見に行き直す必要があるため何度も行き来していました。20220927 Afternoon classes began. English sentences were posted in the hallways and empty classrooms outside the classrooms, and a recreational class began where one of the pairs memorized the English sentences and passed them on to the other pair to write down. Students had to go back and forth to look at the English sentences again and again if they forgot them.

20220926 プールは無事終わりました。今日は外でそのまま流れ解散となりました。ある生徒がこの乗り物を契約したようです。至る所に乗り捨ててあって、至る所から乗ることができます。徒歩で通っている生徒にとってはちょうどいい乗り物かもしれません。20220926 The pool is over. Today we broke up outside as it was. It seems that one of the students has signed up for this ride. We have rides all over the place and can ride from everywhere. It may be just the right ride for students who walk to school.

20220926 実は大きなプールの施設が毎日通っている学校から徒歩2分のところにあるので、午後はそこへ行きました。スライダーと波の出るプールや泳ぎを練習するレーンのあるプールなど様々でした。レーンのあるプールは水深2mなのでもちろん足はつきません。途中からクラブチームと思われる集団の水球の練習が始まりました。出入り口などボタン式や引っ張らないと動かないと扉など日本では見かけないため操作方法を英語で聞かなければなりませんでした。20220926 Actually a large pool facility is just a 2 minute walk from the school we go to every day, so we went there in the afternoon. There were various pools, including one with sliders and waves and another with lanes to practice swimming. The pool with lanes is 2 meters deep, so of course you can't touch your feet. A group of what appeared to be a club team started practicing water polo. The entrance and exit doors had buttons or doors that had to be pulled to move, which is not common in Japan, so we had to ask how to operate them in English.

20220926 今日も始まりました。本日はニュージーランドでは急遽祝日になっています。まずは本日がなぜ祝日になったかをグループごとに確認しているようでした。その後、お互いに週末の過ごし方の紹介をしました。また、スポーツのことを確認し、英語でのディベートをしたようでした。20220926 It started today. Today is suddenly a public holiday in New Zealand. First, each group seemed to confirm why today was a public holiday. Then they introduced how they would spend the weekend with each other.
