Most of the original woodwork built by E.S. McSparren, an English master carpenter, can be found throughout the home.

Most of the windows are original with wavy glass. They are unusual with four over four double hung sashes.
The mantels are original, described as unusually wide and decorated with simple panels.

The spacious formal dining room has a similar wide mantel. There are two entrances from the kitchen to the dining room.

The kitchen features a custom Officine Gullo stove and hood. The island counter is soapstone and the remaining counters are Calcutta Gold Marble.

The original gardens were designed in the early 20th Century by the Olmsted Brothers. Much of the original hardscape remains.
