This week we have been working hard in Computing by developing our mouse skills! It was very tricky to begin with, as it was hard to keep the mouse controlled in our hands. However, after lots of attempts and resilience, we were able to make amazing shapes and even design our own self portrait!
In Maths, some of the children have been exploring number bonds up to 10 and looking out for systematic patterns when outlining different number bonds and fact families.
On Thursday, Mrs Bewick gave us a (very hard) maths problem solving job to try. We had to identify number bonds to 10 on small triangles and fit them together by colour to try and make one big triangle. It took a long time for us to figure it out but with a lot of hard work and determination, we eventually got it!
In English, some of the children have been looking at how to write a diary, pretending to be the penguin from Lost and Found. This is our final week reading this book and it is very clear how hard the children have worked writing their own independent sentences!
We finished our week continuing to develop our ball skills in PE and learnt an exciting song in Music…🎄
