Mini Table Tennis

by David Otočan

Materials needed: thin wood, cardboard, one tennis ball and a thread

I made a little table tennis. First, I made the legs out of cardboard then 2 boards also out of cardboard. I took a thin thread that serves as a net. Then I made 2 rackets out od thin wood and put boards from wood on those 2 cardboard boards. I spent 2 hours making it.

Mini Billiards

by Ognjen Kersan

It took me 2 hours for the mini project. I had to cut one board and glue the necessary parts, make holes. I took the cartons to serve as the legs. I took the balls from an old game. Billiard is played by having sticks and throwing balls with them. Straws were used for my sticks. In billiards we have six holes into which we have to insert balls. The last ball to stay must be the black one because if you hit the black ball and you have one left, you lose.

A Farm

by Marie Ban

First, we need to take the necessery things that we will need to make the farm. We will need: a glue gun, wood, wooden base, sticks, wire, stones and toys. As a first step, we stick the sticks together with glue. Then we join larger pieces of wood. After that, we connect the small sticks to the larger ones and than glue them all together on the joined pieces of wood. We got a barn, a garage and a storage. To make a fence we connect the sticks in the abundance of squares, but one small part is left open for the door. We connect it to the wire so that it can open and close. Then, we glue the stones in the circle and top of the wire in the bow to make a well. Stick the garage, the storage, the barn and the well on a wooden base. Only at the end, when we did everything, we put toys in the farm.

Ping Pong Ball Shooter

by Gabriel Vukelić

To make this ping pong ball shooter you'll need a ballon, a plastic/paper cup, a rubber band and a ping pong ball. To make this product you need about 10 minutes or less.

First you cut the bottom of the cup and the balloon in half. After you're done with that you just put the balloon over the cup and to keep it on the cup put a rubber band around it. The last thing to do is to put the ping pong ball in the cup.

Mini Football

by Matej Udovičić and Eduardo

To make mini football you need: a box, straws, clothes pegs, green paper and a felt tip pen. First, you need to cut off the top of the box because you don't need it. Second, cut out the green paper as much as you need and draw the goals and center on it. The third thing you will do is to measure the distance you want to be between the straws. When you have done it, you can glue the green paper from the inside, you can stick it with duct tape or with normal glue. You pierce through the holes you drilled with the straws, when you made it put the clothes pegs on the straws. The last thing you will do is cut the goals from the outside and then you are done. All you need to do is take one small ball and you're ready to play.

DIY Calendar

by Samanta Zulijan and Tea Perković

First, you need to find two boards, then glue them together. When you glue them, pierce three nails through them, then make 26 paper cards. Write the numbers 0 to 3 on four cards, 0 to 9 on ten cards, and write the name of each month on the remaining 12 cards. When you have done that, hang the cards on the nails and draw a picture of your choice. Your calendar is ready.

Alias

by Paola Radola

This is a game called alias. It is played in teams. The team has 1 minute for each card. When you guess one word then 'a check mark' is circled, and if not then 'x'. The speaker must explain that word which is on the paper.

Observatory by Petar Folo

Observatory

by Petar Folo

The observation deck requires several planks, wooden poles and wooden sticks. First, you need to take 5 pillars, 2 of 48 cm, 2 of 46 cm and 1 of 30 cm. Connect them with wooden sticks. Afterwards, the floor should be made of planks. Then you need to make the walls 12 cm high. Repeat 3 times. A door should be cut for the back wall. The roof needs to be made later. The roof is also made of planks. The roof can be as big as you want it to be. And finally, a ladder needs to be made. You can make it with wooden sticks.

Billiards

by Karlo Peršić

This is my work. I spent 2 hours making it. I made it from one wooden board. I cut the board in a rectangular shape. I made a frame and after that I nailed it with nails and connected with duct tape. I drilled holes with a drill. I glued bottle caps below the holes. I decorated the base with spray.

Millionaire

by Mateo Jelenić

I made the game called millionaire. The game consists of 15 cards. Each card carries the certain number of points. The game is played so that someone reads the questions that are written on the cards. The person who answers the most questions correctly (who collects the most points) gets sweets for the prize. The person who answers can save a certain number of points, but that way the game will end and he will not get all the sweets, but only some.

Noughts and Crosses

by Bartol Pekica

For the DIY project, I made a noughts and crosses game. To make this game you need :

  • scissors
  • 4 paper straws
  • some wire
  • glue (not necessary)

If you are using glue put the straws in a “hashtag” shape. Cut into the bottom straws on the part where the straws are touching. Put the top straws in the bottom straws in the “hashtag” shape and glue them together. Make noughts and crosses with the wire and invite some friends over to play.

If you aren’t using glue you are going to use the wire to connect the straws instead of glue. Cut into the bottom straws on the part where the straws are touching.

Make a hole in the top straws so that you can go with the wire through the top and the bottom straws. Connect the straws with the wires. Make the noughts and the crosses and you are ready to play.

A Miming Game

by Katarina Marinić

The idea came to me when we were playing a pantomime at home. I decorated a small box in which I put pieces of paper with the words. A person takes out a word from the box and mimes it.
