Credentialed Educators
We are delighted to share with you the outstanding accomplishment of our faculty members who recently earned a nationally recognized teaching credential through the Association of College and University Educators (ACUE). These course-takers have demonstrated their commitment to teaching excellence and to ensuring that our students receive the best education possible by completing ACUE’s rigorous, 25-module Course in Effective Online Teaching Practices, which required them to implement evidence-based teaching practices in their classes. These teaching practices are proven to help students learn more, stay engaged, and graduate in higher numbers. Please join us in commending our newly credentialed faculty members for their achievement.

Adobe Creative Educator Challenge
Adobe is excited to introduce its Monthly Creativity Challenge for educators. For the month of May, the challenge is Year in Review. We know this year has been full of unprecedented challenges (on top of two school years of unprecedented challenges). For this challenge, think about the positives from this year by sharing your successes and who helped you along the way. Utilize the remixable template by adding your text or photos from this year. Share your journey with the Adobe Creative Educator community using #AdobeEduCreative.
CITI is pleased to announce a new asynchronous resource, the Course Design Incubator. In this course, we will guide you through each step of the course design process based on the ADDIE model of instructional design. This course demystifies the course design and development process to set you and your students up for success. You'll get valuable feedback along the way from CITI staff with instructional design expertise. And by the end, you'll be first-day ready.
📚 Book of the Month
In The Courage to Teach, Parker J. Palmer speaks to the joys and pains that teachers of every sort know well. The book builds on a simple premise: good teaching can never be reduced to technique. Good teaching comes from the identity and integrity of the teacher. Good teachers love learners, learning, and the teaching life in a way that builds trust with students and colleagues, and keeps them coming back tomorrow. Palmer shares how teachers can reclaim their vision and purpose against the threat of burnout.
💡 Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program
Applications are now open for the Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program 2023-24. This program offers diverse opportunities for academics, administrators, and professionals to teach, research, and engage in professional projects, and attend seminars abroad.
