Ruth Gutierrez Los Angeles photographer

Ruth Gutierrez(she/her) is a 17 year old Mexican/Honduran portrait photographer from Highland Park, Los Angeles. She focuses on photographing themselves and others and uses photography as a way to tell stories and share the personality of her subject. Ruth began her journey in photography in 2016 at the age of 11 years old, when she joined Las Fotos Project. Over the years with Las Fotos she expanded her photography and explored many niches. Along the way she fell in love with self portraiture but eventually felt brave enough to go behind the camera and photograph someone else. She hopes to continue to expand and improve her skills in photography and hopes to pursue it as a career in the future.
