Campbell Law announces competitive scholarships annual recipients
Campbell Law School Dean J. Rich Leonard has announced the 2022 recipients of the law school’s four highly prestigious, full-tuition competitive scholarships for exceptional applicants. “Our law school is committed to doing all we can to make sure that every qualified student that wants to use the law as a means to serve others has the opportunity to do so,” Leonard said. “I am thrilled to announce the recipients of our competitive scholarships from the incoming class of 2025.” The recipients are Sierra Robertson ’25, Zannah Tyndall ’25, Zoyha Kashmary ’25 and Sydney Hussey ’25. Visiting Professors Bruce Frohnen, Erin Kenny, Nicole Ligon and Kaelyn J. Romey to join law school
Dean J. Rich Leonard has announced Campbell Law School will welcome visiting professors — Bruce Frohnen, Erin Kenny, Nicole Ligon and Kaelyn J. Romey — to teach during the 2022-23 academic year. Find out more about these professors here.
Amanda Zander joins Campbell Law admissions
Amanda Zander has joined Campbell Law as its assistant director of admissions. Zander will work extensively with Assistant Dean of Admissions Morgan Cutright to oversee the law school’s overall admissions and recruitment efforts. “We are thrilled to have Amanda join our ranks,” said Dean J. Rich Leonard. “Her professional acumen and commitment to building community partnerships will greatly benefit our graduates and our profession.” Learn more at this link.
Professor Krista D. Bordatto to teach Legal Research and Writing
Dean J. Rich Leonard has announced Campbell Law School welcomes Professor Krista D. Bordatto to teach Legal Research and Writing. Most recently, Bordatto taught as an adjunct professor in Legal Research and Writing for St. Thomas University College of Law. Bordatto has also taught as an adjunct professor in Legal Research and Writing at Campbell Law and served as regional director and bar tutor for Kaplan Bar Review in North Carolina and South Carolina. Her research and teaching interests include: Legal Research and Writing, Criminal Law and Procedure, Property, Professional Responsibility, Jurisprudence, Evidence, Corporate Law, Contracts, Constitutional Law, Employment Law, Civil Procedure and Secured Transactions. Applications for Online Patent Law Certificate due Aug. 1
Are you or someone you work with interested in taking the Patent Bar or just taking a deeper dive into Patent Law? Campbell Law is now offering a fully online Patent Law Certificate, which can be completed in two semesters starting August 15. Dana Vouglitois, a resident of Boca Raton, Florida, recently earned her online Patent Law Certificate the law school. A graduate of the University of Miami, Vouglitois is the associate director in the Office of Technology at Florida Atlantic University.
