PROJECTS
Spartan Superway Switching System
The Spartan Superway is a senior project that design and build a solar-powered, non-scheduled and fully-customized transportation networks that drive from origin to destination without intermediate stop or transfers. For my team, we aim to develop a 1-DOF switching mechanism that holds over 543 Newtons of force when switching in a 10-meter track by contacting an overhead structure. Besides creating CAD models for the arm, we also designed a microcontroller to better fit the limited space in the bogie chassis and build a direct connection with the IOT dashboard as well as other MCUs over WiFi modules.
Daimler In-Car Coding
Daimler in-car coding challenge is a project for us to design and build an intelligent prototype that can assist Mercedes customers to experience a convenient journey. Our team focus on task scheduling and curiosity guiding which can not only remind and plan a routine from the user's interaction but also inform by-passing landscape or live events for further operation. We built our assistant with SolidWorks to implement with Adobe for the intro demo and transfers with React Native to present the feature demo.
