OVERVIEW:
Shotgun RPG is meant to be simple, so characters should be simple as well. A shooter driving a car shouldn’t have to ask the Chucker what every score is before he takes a shot.
The races are whatever you want them to be. You could have a hulking bear gunslinger, or a de-clawed tiger who builds killer steam-powered robots, or a raccoon assassin.
Meta-varients:
Each race will have multiple variants listed. For example: Tree-Swingers are all types of apes, so Gorilla, Orangutan, Chimp, Spider Monkey, Snubnose Monkey are listed. The list doesn’t stop here though. If there is some other type of specific ape you want be, more power to you.
Traits:
Each racial group has different optional traits to pick from. Pick one racial trait (or make it up)
You don’t have to pick from the traits listed. If you can justify with the Chucker why some other unique trait should exist for your character based on the race you choose, that is encouraged.
