Team Southside Polaris Mid-Season Report

Polaris Snowmobiles

It's been a busy season with Team Southside Polaris running eleven riders on three different circuits.

C&A PRO Skis
Jesse Kirchmeyer #42
Kirchmeyer INC.

Jesse Kirchmeyer headlines our ISOC National team this season. He came into the season as a multi-time Snowbike Champion and decided to add more to his plate. Its been years since he focused on racing a snowmobile the full season. The #42 entered the Pro Lite division as a rookie this season and currently sits inside the top-20 in points. He had a season best 11th place finish in round 4 at Canterbury Park.

Jesse Kirchmeyer

Jesse is also defending his snow-bike title this season in the ISOC Triple Crown which kicked off in Canterbury. He and his Timbersled started it off with a convincing win in Moto 1 only to have his track derail in moto 2, leading to last place finish. That combination earned him a 5th overall for the day. Saturday saw him finish with a 3rd and 6th in the motos for a 5th overall.

Cecily Bernaiche #24
Polaris Engineered Lubricants

Cecily Bernaiche, another Team Southside Polaris veteran has made her Pro Women's debut this season. After years against racing and beating the boys in the Junior classes, she is finally old enough to compete in the Pro Women's division.

Cecily is currently sitting 9th in Pro Women's points halfway through the season. She has multiple top-10 finishes this season, with a pair of season best 6th place finishes at Canterbury Park and ERX.

Sal Labeau #19
ROX Speed FX

Rounding out the trio is Salvatore Labeau who is competing in the Juniors 10-13 class along with the pair of 9-13 Transition classes. Sal after years of racing on the East coast decided to take his talents West this season.

Bernaiche Builder's

In the Junior 10-13 class Sal currently sits 13th in points out of over 30 racers. He earned his first heat win at the second round of the season at Canterbury Park. He also claimed of pair of 6th place finishes in Fargo and Elk River.

JRL Construction

In Transition 9-13 Friday he claimed a heat win and 6 additional heat podiums. He also scored a stop 5 finish at Deadwood. That consistency currently has him sitting seventh in points out of over 50 competitors. Transition 9-13 Saturday he scored five heat podiums and a final top 10, and has him sitting 18th in points.

Our five rider roster has been dominating the early rounds of Northeast Snocross and will be looking to close out season strong!

Cross Creek Construction

Corin Todd has been nearly unstoppable through the first four rounds of the season winning every final and all but one qualifying heat! He currently has a 14 point lead over in the Pro class.

Dalton Jacquier has been on Corin's coattails every step of the way. He was able to steal a heat win in round two and has finished second place in each of the Pro finals so far this season. The 2020 Pro Lite champion has been making significant gains in race pace all season long.

Tucker Kierstead #315

In the Pro Lite division Tucker Kierstead has picked up right where he left off last season. He has a trio of final wins this season and four point lead over his teammate as they battle for the championship.

Ryan Dupont claimed his first career Pro Lite victory at the opening round the season and has kept the points battle very close. By winning multiple heats over the four rounds of racing so far, the points championship will probably come down to the last race of the season.

Brandon Hyte has been carrying the torch in the Sport division. With pair of final wins to his name along with multiple heat wins as well. He currently sits first in points with a 32 lead over the field.

EVOHALL by MSP Events

Now we head overseas with the Southside EVOHALL Polaris team that has been competiting in the Super League and Swedish SM Championship.

We are fortunate enough to be teamed up with EVOHALL Racing over here in Sweden. Henrik, Daniel and the rest of the team have been an incredible help and resource to gain our footing in Scandinavia.

In the Pro Women's division we have Sollefteå native Ida Rosell competing in both the Super League and Swedish Championship. Alongside her we have Kelly Collier focusing on only the Swedish Championship.

Kelly Collier is currently sitting 15th in the Pro Womens class after three rounds of racing. Kelly has shown an increase in pace with unfortunate luck in the races that contributed to that progression not showing in the results yet. Kelly will be using these next few weeks between races to help improve her fitness with long races run in Scandinavia.

Ida Rosell #60 onboard the #33

Ida Rosell started the season on a different brand, but after some mechanical issues came over to Southside EVOHALL Polaris before the second round of the Swedish Championship. She had a great pair of results at rounds two and three of the Swedish Championship with very little seat time on the Polaris before hand. She was able to earn a pair of sixth overalls and currently sits fifth in the Pro Women's points. In Super League she sits seventh in points after a solid showing in Boden. It will be exciting to see how she progresses on the Polaris the remainder of the season.

Bruce Gaspardi Jr #33

Bruce Gaspardi Jr made his return to racing this winter after taking the last six seasons off. He has currently won each of the Sport overalls at the opening three rounds of the Swedish Championships. He also finished on the podium at the first round of Super League in Boden and currently sits fifth in points
