Introduction

You are invited to join Survival School.

As students, scholars and activists, we are aspiring to learn with humility how to become better allies within the Indigenous movement. We welcome you to learn, transform and take action in this mutual aid project. After viewing the powerful Warrior Women film directed by Beth Castle, Ph.D., please use this toolkit as a guide. You will dive into the history of the Indigenous Movement, engage in a group discussion, reflect on your own journey of social justice, and learn how you can offer your skills and resources to the movement. The matriarchs like Madonna Thunder Hawk have taught us when it comes to human rights, the land, and spirituality, there is no separation. It is our duty to care for our Mother Earth and for each other. Will you stand in solidarity with us today and join the collective?

All artwork, quotes, and photos from the Warrior Women Film, directed by Beth Castle, Ph.D. and Christina D. King.
