As in 2021, the 2022 FNR Awards Ceremony was hosted by presenter Lisa Burke and FNR Science Communicator Michèle Weber.

A moment of silence was held to remember Raymond Bausch, the former FNR Secretary General (1999 - 2010) who passed away recently.
FNR Secretary General Marc Schiltz took to the stage to speak to host Michèle Weber about research culture and more.
“Science has a huge societal value that is sometimes under appreciated. We must not get caught up in metrics and publications instead of the impact of the science” says FNR Secretary General Marc Schiltz
Claude Meisch, Minister for Higher Education & Research spoke to host Lisa Burke about his highlights from research in Luxembourg, naming the coming together of the research community during the pandemic as an example.
