ABOUT THE PROGRAMS
The Junior Girls Golf Grant Program began in 2002 as a commitment from the Pacific Women’s Golf Association (PWGA) to support junior girls in golf. Since then, the Women’s Golf Association of Northern California (WGANC) made a commitment of their own to a grants program and together with the NCGA and Youth on Course, the program has grown tremendously. More than $450,000 has been awarded through 2022. The program is now administered through Youth on Course (YOC) as part of the nonprofit's commitment to providing all youth with access to life-changing opportunities through golf.
Grants of up to $1,000 are made available to any Junior Girls Golf Programs within Northern California. Applications must be made online through the official Grant Application from March 1 through September 1. Grant Application.
The program is funded in part by donations from generous members and member clubs with funding up to $60,000 to be awarded in 2023 through Youth on Course. Donations to Youth on Course that support this program are tax deductible.
