Hello!!!! I am happy you are looking into my newborn and maternity collections! My style is very eclectic and I love to shoot all types of styles. Like I just stated, my style is very eclectic. I really enjoy trying new things and love to offer clients something different. You can let me have full creative control or we can work together to make your vision come to life! We can do in home sessions, use my studio, or shoot on outside ! With newborn sessions patience is key. I have an array of props and wraps to pick from. Creatively I love putting sets together and I can create lasting memories !
My in studio sessions have posed images and props. If you are wanting to shoot at home i consider that as "lifestyle" photography and only shoot with what you have at home and don't bring anything along. It's more of a "in your natural habitat" style session using the nursery and rooms around the house to showcase images.
Before your maternity session you can expect a questionnaire asking what type of images in my portfolio you were drawn to. I’ll ask a variety of questions that help me understand aesthetics and locations you like. From there we will plan the shoot and see if there are any other creative avenues we can take for the session! I love giving clients a mix of what they want as well as showing you some cool or alternative options you might of not thought of! I always want the session to be unique to you but if you’re open to hearing any creative ideas I have we can really get you an array of images!
Before newborn sessions you will get a questionnaire to hone in on ideas, colors, themes you like! Depending on if you’re having an in studio or at home lifestyle session ( I'll get more into that) the questionnaire will be a little different. You will also get information on how to prep for the newborn session!
During your sessions you can expect me to pose you and create the flow of the session! Depending on the type of session there will be times where I let things happen naturally and there will be times where I am giving prompts and directions so you can have a variety of styles with your images!
After your session if you signed a model release I will be sharing sneak peeks on different social media accounts! I’ll then finish up your full gallery generally within 1 month of your session. Times can vary depending on the season. If you have any dates that you need images by you can talk to me about that to see if there is a rush fee needed.
Additional prints, products, and digital images can be purchased after the session a la cart.
