Firstly, we take great pleasure in acknowledging and honouring our Employee of the Month.

A huge congratulations to March's Employee of the Month: Colin from the Cornwall branch.
Sharon, our Cornwall Branch Manager, nominated Colin for this award to say a massive thank you for all his hard work, and to shout out about how fantastic he is!
Sharon said ''I would like to nominate Colin for the March employee of the month award. He has worked for my clients in nursing homes and now moved over into support work, he is a really reliable, conscientious member of staff, who gets on with clients, members of staff and the residents whom he looks after.''
We want to thank Colin for being such a brilliant and integral part of the Alert Health 24 team. Thank you for being so fantastic, and positively impacting so many people's lives. We are incredibly proud!
Sharon recently met up with Colin to give him a huge thank you and present him with his certificate and some delicious brownies from The Gorge Bakehouse.

TRAINING
We're excited to inform you that the Moving and Handling People course we recently introduced is now underway, with the first training sessions scheduled for this week. Your local office will reach out to you when it's time for you to update your Moving and Handling training, but if you'd like to attend a refresher session earlier, please feel free to contact your local branch.
The Kings Coronation
The Coronation of His Majesty The King and Her Majesty The Queen Consort will take place at Westminster Abbey on Saturday 6th May and it has been announced that Monday 8th will be a Public Holiday. Our offices will be closed on this day but our out of hours team will be contactable in emergencies.
Promotions
Exciting news for Scarlett, previously the Healthcare coordinator for the Somerset Branch at Alert Health 24, has been promoted to the position of Healthcare Recruitment Consultant. Scarlett joined Alert Health 24 in January 2022 and was recently asked about her experience working for the company. She expressed her enjoyment in building relationships with clients and staff, especially new clients, developing new business opportunities, and showcasing the quality of Alert Health's services. Scarlett finds the most rewarding aspect of her work to be successfully placing a staff member in a service where they become an integral part of the team. She is thrilled to progress within the company and excited to expand into new services in South Somerset. Scarlett is passionate about her work and eager to provide the exceptional staff of Alert Health to new clients.
Charity Events
During this month, five members of our Alert Health 24 team participated in a sponsored charity event for Alzheimer's Research UK. Their goal was to run 50 miles in April, with each mile they ran contributing towards funding important research and providing hope to the millions affected by dementia. As a result of their admirable efforts, they have successfully raised £400 for Alzheimer's Research UK. We would like to congratulate Jaimie, Martyna, Hannah, Andy, and Alice for their incredible commitment and dedication to such a worthy cause.
HALF YEAR REVIEW
This week saw all Alert Health 24 Branch Managers meet to review the first 6-months of our Financial Year. Photographed here is the Half Year Reviews in full swing. Exciting plans for the future were discussed, emphasising how Alert Health 24 will continue to grow and continue to make a positive difference to peoples’ lives.
