On June 18th, 2022, Lĭv To Grō was introduced to the Rock Hill community at the 2022 Sylvia Circle Demons Football Skills Camp hosted by Jadeveon Clowney Hit Foundation and the YMCA. This event gave us exposure and it also allowed us to make the community aware of the Inaugural Get Fresh To Go Back Movement display table at the 7th Annual Back2School Block Party hosted by the Heart2Heart Foundation.

Inaugural Get Fresh To Go Back Movement
The Inaugural Get Fresh To Go Back Movement partnered with the Heart2Heart Foundation for the 7th Annual Back2School Block Party at the Rock Hill Galleria Mall on Aug. 6th, 2022. With this event, we were able to give away 50 free pair of shoes & socks, 50 free haircuts, and 1,000 toiletry bags.
Get Fresh To Go Back Movement
Lĭv To Grō was fortunate to participate in another Back to School event. This event was held at the Sanctuary of Life Outreach Center where Pastor CT Kirk presides. This was a fun event filled with food, fellowship, music, snow cones, book bag giveaways, inflatables, & arcade games. Lĭv To Grō was able to giveaway more toiletry bags plus book bags and school supplies.
Founder/CEO Welvin Simpkins was interviewed by Lamont Ratchford with Higher Definition Radio to spotlight Lĭv To Grō and all the things the new nonprofit has been involved with as well as opportunities going forward in the near future.
Indian Land Middle School Football Jamboree
Lĭv To Grō was able to participate in the Indian Land Middle School football jamboree and donated toiletry bags to every team represented there.

Founder/CEO Welvin Simpkins of Lĭv To Grō had a great time volunteering & shopping at the Jingle-A-Thon. Special shoutout to Jadeveon Clowney Help in Time Foundation, Rock Hill Schools, Walmart, & Rock Hill Schools Education Foundation for serving the kids in our community.
Very fortunate to partner with Shannon Cooke, Realtor of Bloom Realty, on their 4th Annual Bloom Bless a Family this year. Rock Hill Schools Marek Marshall along with the School Counselors at Saluda Trail Middle School provided us with two families whom were very appreciative for the gesture.
Lĭv To Grō was rewarded its 1st public grant in the amount of $2,500 from The Community Partnership Foundation which is a subsidiary of Family Trust Credit Union which is in the Rock Hill area.
Clinton Health ConNEXTion Initiative Award
The Clinton Health ConNEXTion initiative awarded Lĭv To Grō with a $10,000 mini grant from Clinton College and the City of Rock Hill to host a mental health seminar for 100 middle & high school male students in Feb. 2023. This event will have several speakers and activities that will lead the charge to assisting young men to live a more productive lifestyle.
