“Born and raised in Colombia, I'm an emerging actress living in New York since 2015. After getting my BA in Architecture, I left home and went to live and study in Paris. While living there, I did my Master's Specialized in Management and Event Communication but also dedicated my time to study acting for film and theater - my long life passion. I had the opportunity to participate in many different productions in front and behind the camera - as an actor, casting director, producer, co-producer, PA, and AD. After 6 years in France, I came to New York to study Filmmaking at the New York Film Academy and also pursue my acting career. I currently am training at Anthony Meindl's Acting studio.” [Nacida y criada en Colombia, soy una actriz emergente que vive en Nueva York desde 2015. “I'm an actor, comedian and singer living in NYC. Grew up in north Jersey and left for the US Army right after high school. My passion and drive for performing started at a comedy club in Florida where i waited tables. After seeing many shows and bonding with some comedians, I realized I wanted to be a part of the artistic community. I was studying Economics at the University of Tampa and decided that i was on the wrong career path. I made the decision to move to NYC and give it a shot! I started out doing open mics and live shows in the comedy clubs and was suggested to try acting. Started with some acting classes and workshops and was booked for quite a few featured roles for film/tv and even a recurring role for a short lived tv show. Through serendipity I met my acting/voice coach and mentor Erik Geissen in 2012 and have been working with him ever since. My process has been a magical journey through which after a few years I realized didn't just make me a better performer, but also saved my life!" “I started doing hair in New York City at Elizabeth Arden and moved on to Fekkai where I honed my craft in styling and educating. What came next was television, being that I was exposed to so many celeb's at Fekkai. Elizabeth Vargas and Martha Stewart were my two clients that exposed me to the TV media. While working for Jose Eber in White Plaines, I started to do some work back stage in a Victoria Secret Fashion Show that led me to travel the globe doing fashion shows and photo shoots. I have had one other role in film, the lead in Julio Martinez’s 80’s short, Chanqletera.” [Comencé a peinar pelo en Nueva York con Elizabeth Arden y pasé a la ropa Fekkai. THE CREATIVE TEAM (EL EQUIPO CREATIVO)

Alexandro Pacheco, Writer/Editor/Director | Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Alexandro Pacheco began writing original short stories and treatments for telenovela-style shows at a very early age. He moved to New York City in 2000. From 2001-2012, he worked for the Mark Morris Dance Group. First in fundraising, producing special events in and the company’s annual membership drive, and later ancillary projects for what would eventually become the touring company’s education wing known as Access/MMDG. In 2016, he returned temporarily to the company as a consultant. In 2017, Pacheco made the decision to return to school in pursuit of a career in the film industry. By May 2018, he was a Phi Theta Kappa Honors graduate of Borough of Manhattan Community College and had been accepted into the Kanbar Institute of Film & Television at Tisch School of the Arts/New York University. An active member of the Tisch community, he produced and/or directed 10 productions in just two years, including his award-winning documentary, The Unicorn, which screened in Hamburg, Germany. He received the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship in 2019 and spent a semester in the Czech Republic studying 35mm filmmaking at The Film School at The School of Fine Arts in Prague. He graduated Cum Laude from New York University in May 2020. Alexandro edited Ideologies & The Promise during the COVID-19 isolation period. In 2021, he self-produced a monthly series of four live streams online, as an experiment in marketability and a solution for the lack of access to conversation. The monthly “livestreams” played to private, socially distanced audiences online and featured members of the creative team invited to partake in the exploration of the themes in this film. Pacheco is currently in development of his own original work while he pursues production work in the film industry. He is honored to celebrate the U.S. premiere of Ideologies & The Promise at the Latino Film Market. [Alexandro Pacheco nació y creció en Chicago, Illinois. Erika Houle, Cinematographer, Director of Photography | Camerawoman and educator Erika Houle is driven by tea and movies. Although she was born in the Big Apple, she grew up in Connecticut, England, and Texas before returning to receive a BFA in Film and TV from Tisch School of the Arts (TSOA), NYU. As a documentary cinematographer, she has chased cowboys into the wilderness of the West Texas desert, followed young people from New York on an adventure to India, and traveled with doctors through Haiti after the earthquake. Her work as a cinematographer in Ideologies & the Promise takes her work into the narrative world. Based in Brooklyn and a member of ICG, Houle has worked for the past 10 years around the world on feature films, commercials, industrials, and television shows. In 2015 she began teaching cinematography and film production at TSOA and received her master's degree in art, education, and community practice from Steinhardt, NYU. Currently, Houle guides students as a teacher and chair of the BFA film program at Five Towns College in Dix Hills, Long Island, while continuing to work on Saturday Night Live and shoot short films. Sanjay Garcia Pamaar, Original Score Composer | Sanjay Garcia Pamaar is a composer for film, multimedia, and advertisement based in New York City. During his childhood, he studied piano and drums while performing in both school and garage bands, causing quite the ruckus in his mother’s living room. While studying both Music and Pre-Medical Studies at Boston College, Sanjay fell in love with composition under the guidance of acclaimed professor and composer, Ralf Yusuf Gawlick, resulting in the creation of a number of Sanjay’s classical works and his decision to forgo medical school to pursue a career in music. Desiring further collaboration in the creative process, Sanjay decided to pursue a Master’s degree in New York University’s Film Scoring Program, where he studied with film composers Chris Hajian and Irwin Fisch while writing scores for documentaries, short films, advertisements, and video games. Sanjay’s musical influences range from the classical and jazz repertoire, to metal, prog-rock, pop, hip-hop, and scores for film and video games. He lives to collaborate with others, and thrives on the connections and growth that can be built through teamwork and artistry. When not writing music, Sanjay enjoys traveling around Europe with his family, teaching the Boston College Marching Band Drumline, playing computer games, and working with his family’s charitable organization, Marian Rose World Mission, in the Philippines [Sanjay García Pamaar es un compositor de cine, multimedia y publicidad con sede en la ciudad de Nueva York. Alejandro Salazar, Production Designer | A creative by trade and an artist by nature, Alejandro Salazar has been making art and altering spaces since before he could walk or talk. With a background in Interior Design and Event Design, he settled in Visual Merchandising, designing in-store fixtures and installing seasonal window displays in New York. A natural progression lead to designing trade show booths where he realized his love for temporary spaces. Alex's ability to reinvent and reset his spaces set himself up to designing sets in Independent films. This is ultimately where his gifts unfold, combining skills learned with intuitive creativity. [Creativo de oficio y artista por naturaleza, Alejandro Salazar ha estado haciendo arte y alterando espacios desde antes de que pudiera caminar o hablar. Lexi Pang, Costume Designer
Kimberly Fenwick, illustrator | Artist born and raised in the Hudson Valley, Fenwick attended the College of Saint Rose in Albany and received a B.S. in Graphic Design. She landed in Park Slope, Bklyn, March of 2001 with a Senior design position on Wall Street and continued as a project manager with financial institutions until 2008 when she turned her skills to assist smaller businesses as well focus on illustration and her painting. She is in constant study of acting, writing and film. Kimberly is humbled with gratitude to Alexandro for the opportunity to bring her illustrations to animation and be a part of this important film. [Artista nacida y criada en el Valle de Hudson, en el estado de Nueva York, Fenwick fue al colegio de Santa Rosa en Albany, Nueva York, y recibió un B.S. en Diseño Gráfico.
