MRNY

Process 1 MRNY June 8 - 11

For Make The Road New York, I worked on social media posts including Instagram story and posts, Twitter and Facebook and a pdf for their website. The messaging was about rent relief for immigrants and the location is New York so I researched apartment building illustrations and New York attractions that visually convey the location and cause.

Another component of this program was to create a Spanish version of the social media posts and pdf. Aldo, the designer I worked with, translated the copy for me. I created a first pass of ideas using Adobe Illustrator for the social media posts and Microsoft Word for the pdf on how to apply for rent relief.

Process 2 MRNY June 14 - 18

After meeting with the client, a couple designs I created were chosen and I made revisions on them based on the feedback. I started with Instagram and took the feedback and started working on Twitter and Facebook.

I worked with Aldo on the layout for the pdf. We made couple revisions before sending the final English and Spanish document to the client. The goal of the pdf was to add some stylistic elements such as bolded titles and smaller body text.

Process 3 MRNY June 18 - 23

Once I edited the social media posts and applied the feedback to all of the channels, I created the Spanish version and made a zip file of the editable files and jpgs for upload. For the pdf, I sent both a Word document and pdf to the client.
