Artist Statement

Finding and bringing to light objects from the everyday are at the core of my practice. Whether a piece of trash or a scene along my path, I find myself continually drawn to evident colors, textures, lines, and shapes. In their repurposed state as a collage, the familiar fragments continue to live on in a new harmonious context and with new visual purpose.
