About me

Shadows

My goal for this photo was to capture a good shadow of the bus. It was early sunrise so the lighting really helped the shadow pop out. I chose the photo to be black and white so that the shadow would stand out more.

Shallow and Depth

I took this photo to emphasis the flower more but also include the background of the other flowers. I wanted to make the the detail of the flower standout so you good look more into the flower

Emphasis

My goal for this photo was to capture the intriguing color of the flower and help it sand out. I wanted the contrast of the colors to pop out to make the image eye catching. I like that

Emphasis

I took this photo to capture the dark purple flower and make it stand out. I really liked this photo because of the slight shallow depth in it and how the color pops out and helps the plant seem bigger.

Zoo

My goal for this photo was to capture the lion closing her eyes and just relaxing. I loved this photo because I took it through the dirty class but it actually came out pretty good considering I was a distance away.

Nature in Color

My goal with this photo was to see the detail of the leaf stems and to capture the depth of this photo. I lightened the photo so that the colors seemed warm and make the image nicer.

Hands and Feet

My goal for this photo was to show the texture of the chipped nail polish. I put the photo in black and white to really contrast the texture in this photo it also showed good shallow and depth.

Patterns in Nature

My goal for this photo was to have the contrast in the leaves. This photo showed the death of the leaves because fall was coming. This photo is filled so that not just one leaf is standing out.

Framing a subject

My goal this photo was to frame what was between the stairs. It ended up giving a good reflection of the puddle of water. It also showed good detail of the stairs and the texture. I took this because I loved how wet everything looked.

Silhouettes

I took this photo to give a silhouette of the trees and make the sunset stand out. I liked this photo because of the lines and contrast in the image and how the only color is from the light of the sun.

Meticulous

My goal for this photo to make the scissors organized and meticulous. I tried to let there be not so much shadow of the scissors and instead enlighten them.

Photo of the day

My goal for this photo was to make the butterfly stand out, as well as the flower. The movement of the butterfly was the best part of this photo because I took the photo before the butterfly flew away.

Different World

My goal for this photo was to the blurry reflection of the stairs. I wanted the photo to look like a portal to a alternate world which I think I did. This photo shows good contrast and reflection.

Photo of the Day

My goal for this photo was capture like a movement of the footprints so show like moving forward. I liked this photo because it gave good texture and depth.

Eyes

My goal for this photo was to capture the eye with an eye. The lighting in this photo was on point and really helped the contrast of the colors. There is also some depth of shadow in this photo

My favorite Assignment

My favorite assignment would have been the cutting out magazine pictures. I loved this assignment because it was funny and really fun to do. It was one of the easiest assignments and I just enjoyed it.

Process in class

This year think my photography skills have improved because I learned more on how to use a camera and to better go in depth with photos and when the right moment is to take a photo. I learned more about lighting and how much it affects images.
