Joining our family association is simple, just two steps.

Browse through our Website and learn about the important genealogical work and fun things we do as an association and as a family.

Step 1: Complete and Submit a Membership form:

After you have read the following directions, click the Join the Scruggs Family Association button below. It will take you to a pdf version of our fill-in-the-blank Membership Application form.

  • Click the Join the Scruggs Family Association button below. Your default pdf editor screen will pop up.
  • Click E-sign at the top left of your pdf editor screen to create a copy of the form to either modify or print.
  • You can print the form using the print button in the dropdown menu under the three dot icon on the top right of the editor screen. You can modify your printed form with pen and ink and ink and mail it, You can complete the form online, print it, and mail it; or you can save the completed form digitally and attach it to an email.
  • Send a copy of your completed form to the SFA Secretary-Treasurer by mail or as an attachment in an email to treasurer@scruggsfam.com.

Step 2: Pay your annual Scruggs Family Association membership dues

Annual membership dues (we accept check or paypal): Regular $25,Sustaining $50 or more.

About your Scruggs Family Association Membership

DUES YEAR: Scruggs Family Association membership dues cover the calendar year.

SUSTAINING MEMBERSHIP: Sustaining members do not receive anything special other than recognition once a year in our publication and our sincere gratitude for your expression of support for our efforts, which are entirely voluntary.

Our dues year is the same as the calendar year and memberships should be renewed at the first of the year. If you are ever unsure of your dues status, check your address label on the last issue you have received. The last line, e.g., "2021," should indicate your dues status (assuming the printer follows our directions). Let the SFA Secretary Treasurer, who handles our membership applications and dues, know if you have any questions.
