We are an interdisciplinary community of scholars dedicated to producing policy-relevant research on international security. We are devoted to teaching and training the next generation of security specialists who will influence policy and foster a more inclusive, more informed public discussion.

CISAC values its reputation as a highly collegial and collaborative environment. Fellows join us on the Stanford campus and are encouraged to make use of the resources and opportunities afforded by one of the world’s foremost research institutions.

Fellows participate in research seminars, collaborate with other fellows and faculty, and present original research to our community of faculty, researchers and scholars.

Fellows also make field trips to labs, research institutions and cultural sites. And generally enjoy formal and informal meals together and discussions with professional colleagues.
