I am so happy you are interested in a portrait session with me! Below I’ve outlined the process in working with me from start to finish and provided the full investment information you need. Portrait Experience

1. Booking

After I receive your initial inquiry (what you just submitted!) I’ll send you answers to any questions you’ve already sent in, along with this guide! Once you select the sessions you’d like to book, let me know and you’ll then be sent a Session Agreement to sign electronically and an invoice. Once I’ve got those back, it’s GO TIME!

You can schedule a phone consult to discuss all the details of the session experiences that I offer before you book. I love phone consults because I can answer any questions you have and I can learn more about what you are looking for in your session!

2. Planning

Once you are booked, I will send you my Client Resources page that is my treasure chest of information! Here you will find a link to join both my private email list and exclusive Facebook group. You will also have access to my What to Wear guide, a virtual styling tool, and suggested retailers to check out while shopping for your session! There is also a Session Prep Guide for each session type. Each and every session has it’s own in depth questionnaire that I will ask you to fill out during the planning stage so that I can get to know you and your loved ones better. This is your time to give me all your ideas and input! I am very hands on in wardrobe and location selection and believe the comprehensive planning stage is what really makes my sessions SO successful. I also love setting up a quick phone consult to finalize any session details and will send you a link to set that up after I receive your session questionnaire.

3. Session Day

I believe that focusing more on feeling and less on posing creates meaningful and moving images. Due to this core belief, I’ve come up with a method of ‘posing’ that combines direction and prompts to foster authentic emotions and make sessions more enjoyable. Relax. If you’re a Mom wrangling your kids to get to me on time for photos, have a drink and make Dad drive. If you’re expecting and have to skip the cocktail, take a few deep breaths! I am a Mom and know how stressful it can be! But once you arrive, I will take charge of the littles and you can spend that hour just soaking in your family and allowing me to create magic!

4. Proofing & Image Delivery

Approximately one week after your session you will be sent an online proofing gallery via email. Proofing galleries include your sessions best images. These will be lightly retouched to give you an idea of the final product. Upon receipt you will be able to select which images you would like to be fully retouched. Once you select those images via an online gallery and pay your invoice, I will retouch your images to give your images that extra dose of amazing and send them back to you all ready to print, share and love forever! It is as easy as that!

Investment

Investment is made in two parts.

Your Session Retainer, which is due at the time of booking and your Digital Collection Fee, which is due after you have viewed your proofing gallery and selected the images you would like retouched. You will choose a collection for each session.
