Dear University community,
- A chance to glimpse the future of TAMIU’s campus in five years, 15 years, and beyond will be shared with TAMIU students, faculty, staff, and the community at-large Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2023.
- An information session will be held from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. in the Student Center Ballroom. The future is bright…here’s more.
- Did you know you can set up an Installment Plan to pay your tuition? You can do so via installment payments. A $30 cost is required to set up the plans in addition to a 25% down payment. The remaining 75% of tuition owed is separated into three equal payments due in Feb., March, and April. Deadline is Monday, Feb. 13 to avoid being dropped from courses.

- Click on "My Records."
- Select "Pay My Bill."
- Click on the blue "Pay Now" button. (You will be redirected to the payment site)
- Enroll in a Payment Plan

- Tax season is here, and TAMIU’s A. R. Sanchez, Jr. School of Business is providing free tax preparation assistance for qualified individuals in Webb and Zapata Counties from Saturday, Feb. 4 - Tuesday, April 18 at TAMIU's Western Hemispheric Trade Center, room 126.
- Tax preparation assistance is provided through the Voluntary Taxpayer Assistance (VITA) Program, an IRS-sponsored program that offers free tax return preparation and general tax help to families and individuals. IRS-certified tax preparers will be onsite to help individuals. Find out more.
- Gotta Dance? Aspiring dancers are invited to attend a series of workshops hosted by our Dance faculty members. The first session is this Saturday, Feb. 4 from 2:30-4:30 p.m. and it’s free. To register, visit the Eventbrite link here https://go.tamiu.edu/dancedays
- These dance workshops will offer Contemporary Ballet, Modern Dance, Ballet Folklórico, and Flamenco classes. Spring Dance Days offer individuals the unique opportunity to learn about TAMIU’s Dance program and interact with renowned dance faculty members. Dance Days are open to the public, current students…and ideal for transfer or high school students.

Set Up Your Installment Payment Plan
TAMIU's online installment plan option is available to assist students pay their Spring tuition and fees. The deadline to sign up and pay before being dropped from classes for nonpayment is Feb. 13. The new plan helps to avoid long lines and reduces students' installments by subtracting the amount of financial aid to be awarded from the total owed. It costs $30 to set up the plan and it requires 25% as a down payment, with the other 75% due in 3 equal payments in February, March and April. Also, $100 late fees are already added to student accounts.
