Originally from Austin, TX, I'm currently a pre-med student at Duke University, where I'm also exploring both public health and hospital administration. I'm hoping that my well-rounded educational path will make me a standout nurse practitioner program candidate. I built this page to highlight a selection of projects that demonstrate my passion for all aspects of healthcare.

Studying public health—during a massive global pandemic—has been fascinating (and frightening), to say the least. It gave us a very real scenario to work with in my Epidemiology class. Our introductory project was to create a poster showcasing a powerful public-facing educational piece about COVID-19.

I used Adobe Stock to find a relevant poster template (to the right)...

...and then worked with Adobe Illustrator to create my final piece (to the left).

I was really proud of the narrative, and the poster—I even used Adobe Express to post parts of it to my Insta, to help educate my friends and family.

In my Business of Healthcare course, we were asked to create an app that addresses a key patient pain point. During time I've spent as a hospital volunteer, I've observed how much patients struggle to navigate their way through the physical building. So, I created an app, using Adobe Aero, that helps patients navigate the maze using AR technology.

The app provides simple, visually-guided directions...

...and guides them through each step of their journey, from parking, to navigation, to arrival and check-in.

In each of my intro science courses, I tried to inject creativity wherever possible. I created a poster on chemical reactions for an extra credit project in my Intro to Chem course. For a group project in Biology and Human Physiology, I helped our team create a video on the cardiovascular system using Adobe Rush. I also used Rush to create short tutorial videos in both my chem and physics labs.
