Creative Writing Workshop from Nimboli
Our every single moment is full of stories. There must be a story sitting in every palm. So everyone must have at least two such stories. It takes a lot of effort for these stories to rise from the palms and reach the tips of the fingers. But a day comes when stories come out of these fingers and fly away like a butterfly. Flying butterflies have no sound of their own. All the butterflies in the world are stories that have yet to be told. To write a story is to know that a butterfly can be born from your palm and telling it is like letting a butterfly fly. Have you ever had a butterfly sit on your ear?
'Titliyaan' is the place where we will understand the nuances of weaving stories, read, listen and tell stories.
Workshop for children
Children have some of the craziest stories in the world, but getting them to write stories is equally difficult. This workshop invites children to write a story in a variety of fun ways and through a range of activities. Children having fun with each other. Weaving stories while listening to each other.
AGE GROUP - 5-10 Years
We interact very little on writing with this group. But we do a lot of sports activities. Sing songs and poems. We also do funny question-answer games.
AGE Group - 10+ Years
With this group we talk a lot about writing and reading stories and poems. Together we weave stories. We send some stories to be published in children's monthly magazines like 'Chakmak'
Mudit Shrivastava
Mudit currently lives in Bhopal, but keeps on traveling. He is the sub-editor of a prestigious art and culture magazine 'Rang Samvad'. He has also been an assistant editor in children's monthly magazine 'Chakmak'. He weaves poems and stories for children's magazines like Chakmak, Cycle and Pluto. In the last few years, Mudit have been organizing many workshops with youth, children and teachers in many schools and organizations, You can read his poems on blogs like Hindwi, Kavita Kosh and Posham-Pa and listen to stories on Amazon Audible. Even on the FrontRow, Mudit is taking live sessions on stories and poems.
