- Monday, December 12: Required student/parent meeting for Midwest Ensembles. 6:30pm/AHS Ensemble Room (Enter the PAC entrance)
- Friday, December 16: Midwest Send-Off Concerts (PAC): 5:30pm (Percussion Ensemble), 7:00pm (Saxophone Ensemble), 8:15pm (Wind Ensemble)
- Sunday, December 18-Thursday, December 22: Midwest Band & Orchestra Trip to Chicago!
MIDWEST SEND-OFF CONCERTS
Please support our three incredible ensembles (Percussion, Saxophone, and Wind Ensembles) at our Send-Off Concerts on Friday, December 16th in the Allen Performing Arts Center as they finish their preparations to perform at the Midwest Band & Orchestra Clinic in Chicago Dec. 18-22. The concerts are free and open to the public. Please invite your neighbors, family, and friends.
2023-2024 ENSEMBLE/CLASS AUDITIONS (WINDS)
- WHAT: Auditions for placement in AHS band classes for the 2023-2024 school year. Please note that class placement is for the entire school year. This will be the only placement audition, and students will not change band classes in the middle of the school year.
- WHO: All AHS/LFC band students currently enrolled in grades 9-11, regardless of intent to remain in band for the 2023-2024 school year.
- WHEN: February 13-14, 2023, during band classes at AHS and LFC.
