I’m your classic Notre Dame kid from Chicago. My dad went to ND, I would visit my cousins on campus growing up, and I knew that ND was the only place I wanted to go to college. Once I got to campus, I decided to study Chemical Engineering and even wrote a thesis on the ‘Effect of Acidity on Ni2P for the Hydrogenation Reactions of 𝜶,𝛃-unsaturated Aldehydes’. Outside of class, I was really involved with planning events for student gov, class council, senior legacy, and some of the other ‘unofficial’ ones as well.

Currently, I live in Washington, D.C., and use all those math and problem-solving skills I developed as a Chemical Engineer to help companies build out scalable data analytics solutions with a variety of SaaS products.

What do you enjoy the most about being an ND Loyal Volunteer? Being a part of a group that helps me, and others feel connected to campus!

Favorite ND memory? My Junior year I was a part of the student team that helped plan the first Flick on the Field. The entire day was incredible, but the most memorable moment was at the very end of the movie when Rudy came onto the field the stadium was chanting Rudy and then the scoreboards along the side of the stadium came on to show the score and field position of the game in the movie. It was a culmination of so many months of work with so many incredible people and the best way to start a new school year.

Fun fact about yourself? I was a math team state champion in high school.

Favorite fundraising or engagement tactic? Texting in every Notre Dame group chat and GroupMe to remind people that it’s ND Day or that it’s the last day to donate to get into the football lottery.

Christmas Across Campus

While the holidays are certainly behind us, I thought you would still enjoy a scroll through this beautiful Christmas Photo essay featuring unique views of all the holiday decorations across campus. With the snow and lights, campus was her usual stunning self, cloaked in the magnificence of the birth of Jesus Christ.

Looking Ahead

While January might be a little slow, February and March are sure to pick up in activity. Look forward to some special swag item offers to share with your constiuents when they make a gift. These campaigns will be similar to our other pin and sock offers. I'll be sure to share templates and details in the coming weeks.

In the meantime, take a few minutes each week to extend an introduction to those in your GiveCampus portfolios. A little relationship building now makes the ask later a lot easier. Let us know if you need some help getting started. Or just a hype person to give you the confidence to make that first touchpoint.

You Make a Difference

From all of us on the Annual Giving team, thank you for your continued dedication and endless grit to help us engage alumni. This tremendous impact directly blesses our students. The ND Loyal community has already accomplished so much this fiscal year, and we know there are even greater things to come! Thank you for all you do for Notre Dame students each and every day!

Keep Fighting, Irish.
