Australian Immigration Minister Alex Hawke exercised his ministerial powers on Friday to cancel the entry visa of Serbian footballer Novak Djokovic. Djokovic's legal team immediately appealed. On the 16th (Sunday), Chief Justice James Allsop of the collegial panel of the Federal Court of Australia announced that Djokovic's appeal failed. That means the Serb will not be able to play at the 2022 Australian Open as the defending champion.
