Farmer Appreciation Dinner
Join us Thursday, March 23, 2023 at 6pm at North Stokes High School for the 22nd Annual Farmer Appreciation Dinner. We will be serving a barbeque or chicken dinner with all of the fixings. If your business would like to sponsor the event, please send the Sponsor Registration Form along with Payment to Stokes County Cooperative Extension, PO Box 460, Danbury, NC 27016 no later than Friday, March 17, 2023. Stokes County 4-H will be hosting a canned food, non-perishable food drive which will be divided amongst the three food pantries in Stokes County.

The Stokes County Beekeepers Association meets the second Tuesday of each month at the Stokes County Cooperative Extension Office at 7:00 p.m. Our meetings are open to the public. We welcome new members throughout the year and membership dues are $10 annually. Stokes County Plasticulture Equipment Rental
The following equipment is available to rent
- Nolt (Red) Mulch Layer with or without Equipment Trailer
- Nolt (Red) Mulch Lifter with or without Equipment Trailer
How do I rent the equipment? The equipment will be rented on a first‐come, first‐served basis. Contact N.C. Cooperative Extension, Stokes County Center to request an application and be placed on the schedule. The equipment cannot be rented for more than three days at a time.
Does it cost to rent the equipment? Yes. Rental costs are based on the length of use and due at the time of pick up. One‐day rental ‐ $25 Two‐day rental ‐ $50 Three‐day rental ‐ $75
How do I pay the rental fee? Cash or check

Stokes County Extension Master Gardeners Volunteer Association is having their annual bulb sale. To submit your order, go to www.stokesmgv.org or mail the form below along with payment to Stokes County Cooperative Extension, EMGVA, PO Box 460, Danbury, NC 27016. Orders are due by March 25, 2023. Pickup date is Saturday, April 15, 2023 from 10am - 1pm at either the King Library, Danbury Library, or Walnut Cove Library.
