As a vital part of the network of museum and gallery spaces at Colorado State University, the HATTON GALLERY provides an important venue for exhibiting contemporary and historical art. JURIED BFA EXHIBITION 2022

The Department of Art and Art History presents the annual Juried BFA Exhibition 2022 featuring new works throughout the Hatton Gallery created by recent graduates who have earned their Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Colorado State University majoring in Art Education, Art History, Drawing, Electronic Art, Fibers, Graphic Design, Metalsmithing, Painting, Pottery, Photo Image Making, Printmaking, and Sculpture.
Jurors for the exhibition are sculptor Anthony Guntren and illustrator Kris Barz Mendonça.

Alliance Partnership, Women Studies and Gender Research, Department of Ethnic Studies, Department of Art and Art History, and the College of Liberal Arts are proud to presents the program Social Justice thru the Arts 2022 (SJTA). A one-week long workshop that teaches high school students basic social justice concepts and advocacy through integrated work and exploration in the arts.
Social Justice thru the Arts works with ten least resourced Colorado high schools composed of First Generation, racially and ethnically diverse students, and high numbers of students who are on free and reduced lunch”.

Students collaborate alongside CSU faculty, students, and community educators through team building, intercultural dialogue, and collaboration across differences, nurturing individual and collective voices, and fostering community dialog by emphasizing skills that promote social justice advocacy.
This year participants will have the unique opportunity to learn from skilled teachers, from each other, and from themselves. Fort Collins-based multimedia artist Louise Cutler is excited to join the Social Justice thru the Arts 2022 team empowering youth through creative expression.
