Overall, this was an amazing semester filled with countless fun memories and a few great photographs as well. My favorite assignments this semester were easily the Composition and Zoo photos. The composition assignment really helped me understand what photography was as an art and how to improve upon my skills as a photographer. It was here where I feel that I really improved the most and began to understand how to take truly visually appealing pictures. The Zoo photographs were great not necessarily just because of the photos taken, but because the amazing experience I had while taking them. I have a newfound appreciation for those that choose to photograph live animals and the pictures they take as I found out how difficult it was to get a photo that pleased me. I have learned how to frame, flesh out, and compose a wide variety of different subjects in this class, and honed a skill ill be sure to expand upon and use in the future.
