Michigan has four wrestlers seeded top five at their weights, including No. 1 heavyweight Mason Parris.

The Michigan Wolverines closed out the dual-meet portion of their 2022-23 season with a win over Indiana, 23-18, on February 12th and a dominant 30-9 win on Senior Night, February 19th vs. Central Michigan.

Seven decades of Michigan's 101 years of wrestling excellence were represented on the mat for this year's Alumni Night recognition. Many thanks to our great alums!

Alec Pantaleo is on Fire!

Pantaleo had three straight tech falls en route to 70kg Gold at the Henri Deglane Tournament in Nice, France on January 21st.

Then on February 1st, Pantaleo captured his second 70kg Gold medal at the Zagreb Open ranking tournament in Zagreb, Croatia. Dominant start to 2023!

Cliff Keen WC coach Sergei Beloglazov, Alec Pantaleo, Myles Amine, and J'den Cox trained in Bulgaria between the France and Croatia tournaments.

Ben Honis captured the 97kg title at the Italian Nationals on January 22nd. and will represent Italy at the 2023 World Championships.

On February 25th, he took 5th place at the Ibrahim Moustafa ranking series tournament in Alexandria, Egypt.

On February 1st, the Cliff Keen Wrestling Club announced the addition of NCAA champion Nathan Tomasello to our freestyle roster.

Nathan is currently in Sofia, Bulgaria, for the Dan Kolov - Nikola Petrov International Tournament March 2-5th.

James Green, two-time world medalist and USA Wrestling National Freestyle Developmental Coach and the CKWC athletes will run a Development Camp for U15, U17, and U20 age groups at the Bahna Wrestling Center over the Big Ten weekend.

Workouts will be 6:30-8pm on Friday, March 3rd, 2-4pm on Saturday, March 4th and 10-11:30am on Sunday, March 5th. Criteria to attend:

  • Have USAW card (must show card to get in)
  • Have placed in Fargo Nationals or World Team Trials.
