MYME CAMPAIGN - QUT SEXUAL HARASSMENT CAMPAIGN 2023
Context: creating a digital campaign for QUT outlining the issue of sexual harassment in university students and raising awareness of the available support services to encourage those affected to seek for help. The main goal for these designs were to have an empathetic approach, signifying QUT's commitment to protecting and helping students. Visual metaphors such as the hazard line and super-hero cape are also used to make visual impact and signify the depth of meanings ('crossing the line' and 'recognizing strength and power needed to seek help' etc.)
'MyMe' Symbol: The symbol name is constructed with the words 'my' and 'me', giving the meaning of 'my body, my rights to be safe'. Resembling the shape of a face, hair and an arm, these lines are drawn from the letters of MyMe and delivers a sign of protection with the arm cuddling around the head figure.
