To listen to 🎧 I am listening to the Podcast Bible in a Year. In this Podcast, Father Mike Schmitz. reads and explains the Bible in a 15-20 minute podcast. It is the Number 1 on the Podcast Charts. He is joined by, Jeff Cavins, who provides the historic context of the Bible. While I am not a religious person I wanted to reread the Bible. A 15-20 minute commitment each day seems very doable and so far I am enjoying it.

To read 📖 Atomic Habits by James Clear. I loved this book. Since it is the beginning of a new year, most of us, make resolutions that we will not be able to to keep. In this book, James Clear, argues that small adjustments to your habits lead to massive improvements. Atomic habits are small 1% improvements in behavior that, over time, compound into full-blown behavior change and positive habits.

Apps: I am Using: DayOne to write a Daily Journal. I have been using it for years but was not as diligent in 2020/21. I am hoping to continue this daily habit of writing each morning in 2022.
To visit ✈️ We visited the Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort located about 3 hours from Dubai. I was not overwhelmed by this hotel. I was really looking forward to our stay but it did not live up to its reputation. The food and service were just average. However, the location, in the Empty Quarter, is outstanding. It is one of the world’s largest sand desert

Some of my favorite photos of 2021
I am participating in Matt K's Fresh Start Program. The first assignment is about sharing your favorite photos from 2021. The idea is that "it is a really important practice to get in to, and you’ll be amazed at how taking some time to look back at last year’s photos will give you a creative boost going forward."
