How might we make career path less stressful and less overwhelming for people?
Beyou is for a large audience from students , workers, job seekers, and future retired. It doesn’t end to the online platform. From the online website people will have the possibility to go to some events, workshops, seminars, vonlunteerings where they can meet people facing the same struggles and same doubts, but also people who made it and have a great career. The entire platform is to help people socialize, build their confidence, build their network, their resume, and see that possibilities exist.
Visual Strategy
The visual strategy of this platform is very broad because it represents every one of our society, the students, the worker, the job seeker, the future retired. In each category, there are different types of people from different backgrounds, cultures, needs, and goals. The name of the platform “Beyou” was created to build up confidence in people. The color of green and orange is for success, health, wealth, and happiness. The logo mark is the representation of someone, a free spirit in a quest. The use of a San serif is intentional since it is easier to read and very straight forward. The entire branding representation is different people in silhouette and in different shades of green and orange to show the vision of the platform, which is to embrace diversity and inclusion. There is a large audience with different types of individuals. Then there are narrows that represent the career path of the members. The intent is to create a friendly, welcoming, and efficient platform.
Marketing Strategy
The entire advertising strategy of Beyou is based on research, survey, and ideas of the audience. Beyou’s audience claims that the platform should be present in places where people always go so they can be aware and notice it. There will be an online platform like a website, but the platform will be mostly based on social media campaigns, outdoor campaigns like billboards, posters, bus shelters, train stations, bus ads, schools, libraries. In addition, Beyou will have the participation of influencers that will give the inspiration that people really need from people who succeed and went through the same path. Influencer ads will a very important aspect of the advertising as well as using social media for the campaign because it is one of the most used media nowadays. This will create a quick awareness in the community. Then there will be some merchandise like t-shirts, mugs and notebooks that will be in the market for people to purchase, which will also support the platform awareness and interaction between users and the audience. The entire advertising, starting from the website, outdoors campaigns, social media campaigns, influencers and merchandise is a way to reach each category of the platform audience, students, workers, job seekers and the future retired.
My Story
My name is Claudine jeanty and I’m Haitian. I loved everything related to technology and digital imaging growing up in Haiti. I remember going online and gathered pictures of my favorite actresses and actors to create slideshows and collages. I also loved watching movies, especially the trailers and behind the scenes to enjoy the work of the film directors and photographers. Unfortunately after high school I had to make a choice. I had to choose a career that would help me financially in the future but mostly one that fits the standard of Haitian society. I went for medical school and I didn’t stay too long. This path wasn’t mine. Then I started pursuing my passion which is photography/digital imaging, encountering some challenges and difficulties. My personal experience made me realize how important it is to choose a career for yourself and to persevere. At the end, the result will be worth all the struggles you went through.
