Today, LSU Vet Med launches a special crowdfunding campaign to support our Student Scholarship Fund

LSU Vet Med is launching a special crowdfunding campaign to benefit the students who will shape the future of the veterinary profession. Our goal is to raise $10,000 for the LSU Vet Med Student Scholarship Fund, which helps offset the burden of student debt and gives young veterinarians the flexibility to pursue their passion.

We invite our alumni, over 3,400 strong in Louisiana, across the nation, and around the world, to join us in making this fundraising effort for our students a rousing success.

When you give to our Student Scholarship Fund you are supporting the emerging veterinarians who will serve a world that needs more veterinarians. Thanks to the generosity of alumni, private citizens, and community organizations, LSU Vet Med awards thousands of dollars in scholarships each year, covering an array of criteria including academic excellence, academic or clinical interests, financial need, and school and community activities.

When you invest in a student at LSU Vet Med, you are investing in a healthy future for animals and their people.

The Student Scholarship Support crowdfunding campaign generates scholarship funds to support LSU Vet Med students and reduce their debt load upon graduating and starting their first jobs. To help address a nationwide veterinary shortage, LSU is significantly expanding its entering class size, and additional funds are needed to support students earning their Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees.
