Hill girls ice hockey team on the road Story and photos By katie newkirk

Due to the limited amount of prep schools with girls ice hockey, the Hill girls ice hockey team travels a lot. The bus often leaves early and gets back late. There are many hours spent on the road. Despite all of the challenges, the team takes every opportunity together to have a great time and bond with each other. I hope this photo album will share just a little of the fun we have together on the road.

Traveling through all different states might be hard, but the views from the bus are definitely a highlight of every trip.

Early starts and late nights are a common for the team. Fortunately, many of us sleep on the bus. We often fall asleep in... interesting ways.

We always have a great time on the bus no matter what we're doing.

One of the best times on the bus to take pictures is after some people have just woken up.
