English - This week, we have been learning about embedded clauses. An embedded clause is a clause that is embedded into a sentence to give extra information. We used a burger to put embedded clauses in a main clause. We plan to use these in our newspaper articles.
Science - We continued to look at electricity this week. We looked at keeping safe around electricity and had a go at creating circuits online to prepare us to create real circuits. Below are some of our working circuits!
The children were so happy with their circuits! Next week, we are going to add some switches.

Fire Safety - On Wednesday, we had some visitors from the fire service to teach us how to be safe around fire. The children listened very well and asked some great questions!
