About the Director

This will be Mrs. Breeding's 9th year with the Liberty Band. Her time at Liberty started in 2014 as a substitute and volunteer. She was hired in 2015 as the Assistant Director of Bands and then transitioned to Director of Bands in 2017. Prior to her time at Liberty, Mrs. Breeding was the band director at Richards Middle School and Eddy Middle School in Columbus, Georgia. Mrs. Breeding grew up in Forsyth County. She attended Mashburn Elementary, Daves Creek Elementary, South Forsyth Middle School, South Forsyth High School, and The University of Georgia. She marched clarinet and mellophone in the Redcoat Band at UGA. She also participated in CNAfME and Kappa Kappa Psi. While in Redcoats, she met her husband (who played sousaphone). Currently, they live in Cumming with their daughter and two dogs (Munson and Glory).
