The ODYSSEY presents: ARE WE READY?, Volume 1, Issue 6: In Volume 1, Issue 6, the ODYSSEY covered the topics of depression and whether television content was too graphic for its intended audience. The issue’s theme was the responsibilities that teens face, including a story on a teen mom who attended Clarke Central High School, where readers were taken through the journey of her daily routine. The ODYSSEY presents: Is there Injustice in the Justice System?, Volume 1 Issue 7: The ODYSSEY rounded out their first year as a publication with a bang, taking on the big national issue of the criminal justice system. The Our Take column touched on this problem, taking a strong stance in saying that the system is not accurately making decisions that affect the lives of many. This was accompanied by the magazine’s sole feature, which touched on the possible pitfalls in the jury system. The focus of the magazine was about the unknown landmarks of CCHS, while the variety staff reviewed several wrap sandwiches to try and find the best ones. Finally, the Sports section completed the magazine with a story about a CCHS alumnus trying to go pro in football. Story by Wyatt Meyer
